Tiny Treasures Day Care and Education was established in September 2010, and we are proud to announce that we were awarded a “GOOD” rating in our March 2022 Ofsted inspection. We provide a friendly, supportive, and nurturing environment where we work closely with parents to ensure every child feels safe, cared for, and valued. Our aim is to create a positive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and develop at their own pace. We are open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, for 51 weeks of the year, and we cater for up to sixty children in two daily sessions, ranging from 5 months old until their 5th birthday. At Tiny Treasures, we operate a key person system. Each child is assigned a dedicated member of staff who is responsible for supporting their individual learning journey, monitoring progress, and providing personalised care. All our staff members are fully qualified or working towards their childcare qualifications and attend regular training courses to ensure they remain up to date with the latest guidelines, practices, and curriculum updates. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, offering a wide range of fun, engaging, and educational activities designed to support every aspect of your child’s development, including communication, social skills, physical growth, creativity, and independence.
Our preschool offers a range of stimulating and challenging activities designed to help prepare your child for a successful transition to school. We incorporate diverse cultural activities to help children learn about and celebrate different traditions and communities. Children are encouraged to develop independence during snack time, playtime, and throughout daily routines. The preschool features a large, open-plan room with a dedicated sink area where children can wash their hands independently after messy activities. There is also a creative corner with a builder’s yard, providing opportunities for all children to explore, experiment, and develop problem-solving skills through imaginative play.
Our Toddler Room provides a nurturing and supportive environment with a variety of learning opportunities designed to help your child develop and progress across all areas of learning. We have a home corner where toddlers can act out real-life experiences through imaginative play, helping to develop social and communication skills. There is also a quiet area where children can relax, enjoy storybooks, and wind down in a calm and comfortable setting. The room is spacious and open-plan, featuring a dedicated sink area that encourages children to wash their hands independently after messy activities. In addition, we have a creative corner with a builder’s yard, giving children the chance to explore, investigate, and develop problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.
Our Outdoor Area is a spacious and stimulating environment designed to inspire learning through play. It features its very own playhouse, where children can create their own learning experiences and engage in imaginative role play. We also have a dedicated investigation area equipped with real-life objects, such as sinks and worktops, encouraging children to explore, experiment, and develop problem-solving skills. In addition, the sand and construction area provides opportunities for hands-on learning, helping children to widen their knowledge while fostering creativity and curiosity.
